1. Website and organisational identification
This website, www.arbe-africa.org, is operated and published by the French association ARBE — Association for Research on Banking and the Economy, French association registration No. W722005501, 200, rue de Luynes, 72110 Bonnétable, France (the “Publisher”). The separately registered UK organisation, Charity No. 1166422, 3, The Square, Winchester SO23 9ES, United Kingdom, may be referenced elsewhere on the website but is not the operator or publisher of this website solely by reason of that reference.
2. Correspondence
General enquiries may be directed to info2@arbe-africa.org or info3@arbe-africa.org. Sending an enquiry, proposal or document does not create an advisory relationship, mandate, fiduciary duty, partnership, contractual commitment or obligation to respond.
3. Nature of information
Website texts, studies, commentary, presentations, videos and downloadable materials are provided for general information, research and discussion. They are not, without a separately executed written engagement, legal, financial, investment, regulatory, tax or other professional advice, nor an offer, solicitation, recommendation or assurance of any policy, transaction or outcome. Institutions should obtain advice appropriate to their jurisdiction and circumstances.
4. No reliance or guarantee
ARBE endeavours to present serious and considered material but does not warrant that any content is complete, error-free, current, suitable for a particular purpose or free of omissions. Assessments may involve assumptions, interpretations and uncertainty and may change without notice. Users remain responsible for independent verification and for decisions based on the material.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ARBE and its officers, personnel, contributors and affiliates exclude liability arising from use of or reliance on the website, temporary unavailability, interruptions, errors, malware, external services, third-party content or downloaded materials, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including for fraud or other non-excludable liability.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, site content, design, branding and publications are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Viewing, linking to and making legally permitted quotations with attribution is allowed; reproduction, modification, redistribution or commercial exploitation otherwise requires permission or an applicable legal exception. Third-party rights remain with their owners.
7. Submissions and confidentiality
Unsolicited information may be reviewed or declined at ARBE’s discretion. Do not send trade secrets or privileged or confidential documents without an agreed secure process and an appropriate written confidentiality agreement. A website submission does not establish any agency, fiduciary relationship or professional-client relationship.
8. Availability and changes
ARBE may amend, suspend, remove or reorganise website materials and features at any time, subject to applicable law. No representation is made that the website will be continuously available, secure or accessible in every jurisdiction.
9. Applicable law
French law governs the operation and publication of this website, subject to applicable mandatory laws and non-excludable user rights. Any dispute relating to its operation is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent under applicable French and European Union procedural rules; no clause here deprives users of legally protected jurisdictional rights.
